LAN/WAN/VPN

One of areas of Decsoft’s activity is designing, development and implementation of communication systems, the LAN, WAN, MAN and the VPN included. We offer the convergent networks too. In year 1995 Decsoft developed and implemented the first in Europe commercial installation of broadcast of voice in packet nets (Voice over Frame Relay).

Decsoft also developed (among others):

-        main enlargement of Wide Area Network for Polcard S.A. (credit card operator), including network management;

-        implementation of PESEL-Net for Ministry of Interior and Administration (the country-wide network enabling public sector access to state registers) – 3-year contract, public bid;

-        implementation of SIMIK-II net (country-wide network for Ministry of Finance) – in consortium with other companies, public bid;

-        reengineering of LAN and WAN of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (over 1500 users, fully manageable network with virtual LANs, comms over Internet with VPNs), public bids.

Executing the local networks and the access points to wide area networks (also executing the guarantee supervision or executing service of repair or modernization of the networks), we apply the modern technologies of execution and measuring, including the following:

-        fusion splicing the optical fibres (single-mode and multi-mode) with simultaneous measurement the attenuation of the connection, measurements scattering and absorption of sections of line as well as the measurements the attenuation of optical tracks, reflectometer measurements of the telecomunication lines;

-        measurements of the twisted pair cables to required category, according to standard EN / PN 501773;

-        measurements of communications cables in range of continuity of lines and the effective attenuation on one frequency;

-        measurements of power supply installation 230/400 of V in range of effectiveness of electric shock protection, the impedance of fusion loop, resistance of isolation, resistance of earth, harmonic analysis.
